| Welcome to the New Edinburgh Orchestra web pages! We are a friendly amateur orchestra of around 50 players based in Edinburgh, Scotland and conducted by Tim Paxton. We are a member of Making Music: the National Federation of Music Societies. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings and perform three concerts a year. Our repertoire includes new music, including several works commissioned by the NEO, along with a variety of more familiar classical pieces. |
If you are interested in joining the orchestra, please contact
Louise Fotheringham (string players)
or Amy Isard (wind and brass players)
| If you are a member of facebook, check out our groups - we have one for members and another for friends/former members |
